ANSI C++ is a specification that needs to be followed by every compiler vendor so as to develop cross platform code. This means that if a developer developed code in accordance with ANSI C++ specification in one OS and compiler , then it will compile on another OS as well as in another C++ compiler with compiles with ANSI C+ +..
