I read a book on the topic black holes.Black holes absorbs everything which comes closer to it. So what happens to the light which is absorbed by a black hole? will it destroy it? or convert it into any other form? or will it keep it? Can you please give an exact conclusion for this ?

Black hole absorbs everything whatever it comes inside the radius called swartz-child radius. Even light cant escape form its gravitational attraction.

Nobody can exactly give a conclusion regarding this as nobody seen black holes till now directly. The existence of black holes will be proven by indirect methods like entropy change etc..
