Getting different exceptions after deploying an asp.net site on server
Posted Date Unknown Remya Raj 5 Comments

Hi...

I have developed an online exam site. When i'm accessing the site from a single machine its working well and good.

The problem arises when this site is used by multiple users, for taking up the exam from different PC's. Different exceptions are
being shown at different times. It is not rising continuous exception but after every 5-6 minutes and sometimes after every 1
  minute it is  rising exception.

When an exception is occured on a machine, every machine accessing that site get same exception.

I'm really got stucked!! Please give me a solution for this.

3 questions

1. Are you getting this exception when trying to test it in Local Lab environment or in a remote Hosted Server?
2. If hosted in an online server which is the Hosting company?.
3. How you are tracking the sessions?.

Sir,  different exceptions are  being shown at different times.

1. Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.
2.Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
3.Cannot cast DBNULL to other type
4. there is no row at position 0 etc..

It is not rising continuous exception but after every 5-6 minutes and sometimes after every 1
minute it is  rising exception. When an exception is occured on a machine, every machine accessing that site get same exception.

It seems that your logic is wrong as you are refering data structure indexes which is out of range. For example you are referring arrays of index 100 when the array size is 98 like that. Try to modify the logic correctly .. Then things Will be OK..
