Converting application x84 to x64
Posted Date Unknown Ajith Joseph 1 Comment

I have create an application in visual studio 2005, with configuration "Any CPU". Now i want to convert this application to x64. so I changed solution platform to x64.  now I am receiving the following warning messages during my compile process:
Warning 1 Assembly generation -- Referenced assembly 'System.Data.dll' targets a different processor
Warning 2 Assembly generation -- Referenced assembly 'mscorlib.dll' targets a different processor

I am using an  Windows x64  platform to do C# builds in Visual Studio 2005, and I specify x64 as the target platform.
How can i fix these warnings?

Please make sure that the referenced assembly is 32 bit or 64 bit by selecting the references form the appropriate .NET Framework folder. You can view which library referenced by double clicking on the reference item and seeing the path of the dll..

Hope this helps..

Tom
