windows service equivalent on linux
Posted Date Unknown Jobi John 2 Comments

I've a windows service which is developed in C#. I want to install and run it on a linux fedora machine. Can I use the same on linux without any change? If so, how can I install and manage (start & stop) on linux fedora.

Please help.

Installation process might be different, but if you used the pure .NET framework without any platform dependency, aplication should work. You might need to develop an RPM package in order to run it correctly in Linux..

For starting and stopping of service usual demon start/stop commands apply once you installed the demon..

See the link below..
